  <h2>Creating Jeopardy In PowerPoint</h2>

  <h4>Let The Games Begin!</h4>
  <ol>

      Begin a blank project and choose a &quot;Title Slide&quot;.<br/>

      The below picture is your goal!  The numbers (100, 200, etc.) are
      hyperlinks, which is why they're underlined.  The boxes and lines were made
      with the <span class="keyword">Drawing&nbsp;Toolbar</span>, and the Jeopardy
      sign was made using Word-Art.  You learned all of this stuff in your last
      three lessons.  Now it's time to use it!  Your first slide should be a
      <span class="keyword">Blank Slide</span><br/>

      Change the color scheme so that it works for Jeopardy.  If you don't remember
      how to do this, find out <a href="ppt_hyperlinks.php">here</a>.<br/>

      The background, accent, and accent followed hyperlink should all be set to blue (the final
      piece is set to blue so that hyperlinks that were already visited will look as if they've
      disappeared after they've been chosen).  Also, the Text N Lines, Title Text, and
      Accent N Hyperlink should all be set to yellow.<br/>

      This is what your first slide should initially look like.  Remember to set the inside color
      of your rectangles to &quot;No Fill&quot;.  Also, think about how you can use Copy and Paste
      to save time making all of those rectangles and all of those columns of stuff.<br/>

      Below is a picture of one of the 15 question slides that you'll have to create.  Use a
      bulleted list slide to create all 15 of the question slides (each slide corresponds to one
      of the boxes on the main Jeopardy page).<br/>

      The data for each slide is listed below in the format TITLE : BULLETED QUESTION<br/>
      <ul>
        <li>HTML 100 :
          This tag is used to create a new row in a table.  Table data and table headers go inside
          of this tag.
        </li><li>HTML 200 :
          This tag is used to create an item in an ordered or unordered list.  In an unordered list,
          any text placed inside this tag has a bullet next to it.
        </li><li>HTML 300 :
          This tag is used inside of the &lt;head&gt; tag.  Text typed inside of this tag shows up
          on the title bar.
        </li><li>HTML 400 :
          This tag follows the &lt;head&gt; tag.  The information that shows up on all web pages is
          placed inside of this tag.
        </li><li>HTML 500 :
          This tag is placed inside of &lt;tr&gt; tags.  It is used to identify headings in tables.
        </li><li>File Extensions 100 :
          This is the file extension used for Microsoft Word files.
        </li><li>File Extensions 200 :
          Powerpoint files are saved with this extension.
        </li><li>File Extensions 300 :
          Excel files are saved with this extension.
        </li><li>File Extensions 400 :
          JPEG images can be saved using this three letter extension.
        </li><li>File Extensions 500 :
          Rather than using GIF images for the internet, which end with the *.gif file extension,
          you should save images using this file extension.
        </li><li>Excel Formulas 100  :
          This formula finds the maximum value of all of the values stored in cells A3 through A29
        </li><li>Excel Formulas 200  :
          This formula finds the minimum value out of the values from cells A7, B12, and H2
        </li><li>Excel Formulas 300  :
          This formula is used to find three times the sum of forty-three and the value stored
          inside of cell C32
        </li><li>Excel Formulas 400  :
          This formula finds twice the average of values stored inside cells B15 through AB22.
        </li><li>Excel Formulas 500  :
          This formula finds five times 37 cubed.
        </li>
      </ul>

      Now you have to provide answers to all of those questions that were asked.  Make a text
      box that has the answer for the question in each slide.  Then choose a custom animation
      for that answer.  The answer should appear when you click your mouse button.  If you aren't
      sure how to do that, you might want to look for the answer
      <a href="ppt_effects.php">here</a>.<br/>

      Now it's time to make hyperlinks to each of the questions from the first slide.  Highlight
      text to create hyperlinks, then right click on the text and set it to link to the correct
      slide.  This should be easy enough to do if you followed the
      <a href="ppt_hyperlinks.php">last tutorial</a> completely.<br/>

      Finally, use the Master Slide to create a link back to the starting page.  As long as
      you followed the <a href="ppt_hyperlinks.php">last tutorial</a>, this should be
      a piece of cake.  Once U R done, view the slide show and check out your masterpiece!<br/>

      <span class="keyword">Save</span> the file as
      <span class="emphasize">mynamejeopardy.ppt</span>, where
      <span class="emphasize">myname</span> is replaced with
      <span class="emphasize">YOUR ACTUAL NAME</span>.  Make sure that THE FILE IS ONE WORD.
