Welcome to Pre-Calculus. Note: A graphing calculator (such as the TI-83) is required.
Pre-calculus math is comprised of the study of formal trigonometry and its application
to complex numbers, coordinates, and scientific applications. Students will be expected
to complete in-depth projects.

Classroom/Homework
- Homework is given every day, and is usually due the next day.
- Late work is not accepted.
- Notebooks are collected at least twice per week.
- Notes should be taken in pencil in a wireless composition book.
- Each checked assignment is worth up to 5 points, unless stated otherwise.

Scale: Perfect=5 pts. Average=3 pts. Passable=2 pts.
Tests
- Tests and quizzes are given every Friday to measure student understanding of this subject.
- Make-up tests will be given on Mondays during class or Fridays after school for students who have an excused absence.
Extra Credit/Projects
- Extra credit and projects may be given in class from time to time.
These can boost your grade by as much as 3%. Extra credit work is not
guaranteed to be given by the instructor.
